REMOVAL OF THE NAME OF A PROFESSIONAL FROM THE ANNUAL ROSTER FOR DELINQUENCY IN THE PAYMENT OF ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEES

WHEREAS, Section 3 of R.A. No. 465 as amended by Section 1 of R.A. No. 6511 provides that “x x x after the lapse of 5 continuous years from the year it was last paid if the annual registration fee has never been paid, the delinquent’s certificate of registration shall be considered suspended and his name shall be dropped from the annual roster for not having been in good standing and may be reinstated only upon application and payment of the fee herein provided for registration without examination x x x “.

WHEREAS, it has been noted that the number of delinquent professionals has increased considerably during the past years.

WHEREAS, PRC Resolution No. 217, Series of 1992, which provides for the removal of professionals from the roster of professionals shall be implemented strictly.

WHEREFORE, the EDP Division and the Registration Division of this Commission are directed to submit to the Commission En Banc a list of delinquent professionals who have failed to pay their annual registration fees for 5 or more continuous years. These professionals shall be dropped from the roster of professionals and their certificates of registration shall be considered suspended after due notice and warning.

This Resolution shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation, whichever comes earlier.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished the presidents of the accredited professional organizations as well as non-accredited professional organizations for dissemination to all of their members.
