BOOKING CERTIFICATE AS BOOKING VOUCHER

Please be informed that effective immediately all theater owners, managers, and bookers should demand a booking certificate or booking voucher from the producer or distributor of any film shown in your theater.  The absence of this booking certificate or voucher from the legitimate producer or distributor can only mean that the movie is obtained from illegal sources and as such, the theater owner assumes responsibility for the film and any violation of P.D. 1986.

The theater owners, managers, and bookers are therefore urged to deal only with reputable producers and distributors who are duly registered with the Board and who will assume responsibility for the film.

Likewise, all movie producers and distributors are directed to issue a booking certificate or booking voucher when transacting business with the theater owners, managers or bookers effective immediately.  This booking certificate or voucher will ensure that only movies from legitimate producers and distributors will be shown in the theaters.  It is also an indication that the producer or distributor is responsible for the movie covered by said booking certificate or voucher.
