PROCLAMATION NO. 1529, June 12, 2008
DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 17, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAPU-LAPU
WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 17, 2008, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Lapu-Lapu;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lapu-Lapu, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 17, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lapu-Lapu.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set may hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
