PROCLAMATION NO. 1440, September 15, 2026
DECLARING FRIDAY, 02 OCTOBER 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF DINAGAT ISLANDS
WHEREAS, on 02 October 2026, Friday, the Province of Dinagat Islands will mark the celebration of its Charter Anniversary;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Dinagat be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 02 October 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Dinagat Islands.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
