The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in
partnership with the Rule of Law Effectiveness (ROLE) and the American
Bar Association – Asia Law Initiative (ABA- Asia) will conduct a Seminar on the Rule on Civil Forfeiture, Asset Preservation
and Freezing of Monetary Instrument, Property, or Proceeds
Representing, Involving, or Relating to an Unlawful Activity or Money
Laundering Offense under R.A. No, 9160, as Amended, to be
held at the Discovery Suites, Ortigas Centre, Pasig City and,
simultaneously via webcasting, in the Court of Appeals Library, Cebu
City and Dynasty Court Hotel, Cagayan De Oro City on February 8, 2006
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The following justices and judges are
