BEFORE US is a Petition for Certiorari under Rule 65 of the Revised Rules of Court, assailing the: (1) Order[1] dated September 19, 2012 granting the ex-parte motion to cancel bond and the issuance of a warrant of arrest against petitioner; and (2) Resolution[2] dated November 26, 2012, denying petitioner’s motion for reconsideration, issued by the Regional Trial Court in Criminal Cases Nos. 18651 to 18653.

The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) filed its Comment[3] to the Petition on September 13, 2013.
Meanwhile, on December 6, 2013, petitioner filed a Motion to Withdraw Petition4 stating that petitioner had decided not to pursue the instant Petition, and praying for the withdrawal of the Petition. The OSG interposed no objection5 to petitioner’s Motion.
WHEREFORE, as prayed for, petitioner’s Motion to Withdraw Petition is GRANTED.
The Petition is deemed WITHDRAWN and the case is considered closed and terminated.
SO ORDERED.
