PROCLAMATION NO. 417, June 27, 2012
DECLARING MONDAY, 2 JULY 2012, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN
provides the creation of the City of Tagbilaran as a Chartered City on 1
July 1966;
WHEREAS, the City of Tagbilaran marks the commemoration of its Charter Day anniversary on 1 July 2012;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Tagbilaran participate in
the occasion, the Eleventh Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that Monday,
2 July 2012, be declared as special (non-working) day instead of 1 July
2012, which falls on a Sunday;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and
proper that the people of the City of Tagbilaran be given full
opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with
appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA
JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S.
AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday, 2 July 2012, as a special
(non-working) day in the City of Tagbilaran.
