### Facts:
This case involved the National Power Corporation (NPC), initiating a complaint on March 21, 1990, with the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of San Fernando, Pampanga, seeking to exercise its power of eminent domain over five parcels of land owned by respondents for expanding the NPC Mexico Sub-Station.
