Presidential Proclamations April 28, 1953



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me.
by law, I hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 288, dated
November 6, 1951 certain portions of the land embraced therein and declare the
same open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, situated
in the City of Manila, containing an area of 1,591.8 square meters, more or
less, and more particularly described as follows, to wit:

Lot No. 1, Swo-33311 (Standard-Vacuum
Oil Co.)

A parcel of land (lot No. 1 as shown on plan
Swo-33311), situated in the District of Intramuros, City of Manila. Bounded on
the NE., by lot No. 2 of plan Swo-33311 (Standard Vacuum Oil Co.) ; and on the
S., SW. and NW., by government property (proposed widening of Rotonda).
Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being N. 29° 20′ W., 119.42 meters from
fire hydrant 30,City of Manila, and S. 77° 48′ W., 331.93 meters from B.L.L.M.
No. 42, Manila cadastre 13, thence N. 56° 42′ E., 13.57 meters to point 2;
thence S 32° 25′ E., 15.79 meters to point 3; thence N. 84° 20′ W., 11.29;
meters to point 4; thence N. 69° 29.’ W., 4.79 meters to point 5; thence N. 52°
7’ W., 5.11 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 132.5 square
meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are
marked on the ground as follows: Points 2 and 3, by intersections; and the
rest, by P.L.S. cylindrical concrete monuments; bearings true; declination,
variable; date of survey, March 26 and 30, 1953 and that of the approval, April
9, 1953.

NOTE: Lot No. 1=Lot No. 15, block No. 8, case 14,
an additional lot of Manila cadastre 13, which was formerly a portion of
Bonifacio Drive.

Lot No. 2, Swo-33311
(Standard-Vacuum Oil Co.)

A parcel of land (lot No. 2 as shown on plan
Swo-33311), situated in the District of Intramuros, City of Manila. Bounded on
the NE., by government property (lot No. 4-portion, block 8); on the SE., by
government property (proposed widening of Rotonda); on the SW., by government
property (proposed widening of Rotonda) and lot No. 1 of plan Swo-33311
(Standard Vacuum Oil Co.); and on the NW., by government property (lot No.
4-portion, block No. 8) ; Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being S. 78°
41′ W., 319.31 meters from B.L.L.M. No. 42, Manila cadastre 13 and N. 22° 55′
W, 121.12 meters from fire hydrant 30, City of Manila, thence N. 56° 42′ E.,
22.53 meters to point 2; thence S. 72° 45′ E., 53.30 meters to point 3; thence
S. 51° 15′ W., 36.10 meters to point 4; thence S. 73° 58′ W., 2.50 meters to
point 5; thence N. 80° 55′ W., 1.52 meters to point 6; thence N. 54° 34′ W., 9.36
meters to point 7; thence N. 65° 25′ W., 11.49 meters to point 8; thence N. 74°
51′ W., 11.3 8 meters to point 9; thence N. 84° 20′ W., 0.35 meters to point
10; thence N. 32° 25′ W., 15.79 meters to the point of beginning; containing an
area of 1,459.3 square meters, more or less. All points referred to are
indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: Points 1 and 10,
by Int. and the rest, by P.L.S cylindrical concrete monuments; bearing, true;
declination, variable; date of survey, March 26 and 30, 1953 and that of the
approval, April 9, 1053.

NOTE: Lot No. 2—Lot No. 16, block No. 8 of Manila
cadastre 13, case 14 which was formerly a portion of lot No.4-of
Manila-cadastre 13, case 14.

and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of
April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the seventh.
