RESERVING AS SITE OF THE ROXAS MEMORIAL CERTAIN PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE CITY OF MANILA.

Pursuant to the provisions of section 83 of
Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or
settlement, and reserve for use as site of the Roxas Memorial, subject to
private rights, if any there be, certain parcels of the public domain situated,
in the City of Manila, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands
Plan No. BSD10873, to wit:

PARCEL 1.—Lot 1, BSP10873

A parcel of land (lot No. 1 of the subdivision
plan, being a portion of block 351, Manila cadastre, BSD10873, situated in the
District of Ermita, City of Manila, Island, of Luzon. Bounded on the North, by
Calle Isaac Peral 30.00 meters wide; on the east, by Taft Avenue, 37.00 meters
wide; and on the south and west, by lots 2 and 3, block 351, BSD10873.
Beginning at a point marked 1 on the plan and on ground from B.L.L.M. No. 47,
Manila cadastre 13, being S 29° 34′ W., 39.09 meters to the point of beginning,
thence S. 28° 43′ E., 190.09 meters to point 2; thence S. 60° 03′ W., 6.00
meters to point 3; thence N. 28° 43′ W., 188.C5 meters to point 4; thence S.
61° 25′ W., 154.42 meters to point 5; thence N. 30° 35′ W., 2.50 meters to
point 6; thence N. 61° 22′ E., 160.50 meters to point 1; containing an area of
1,540.50 square meters, more or less. Point 1 referred to is indicated on the
plan and on the ground by old Bureau of Lands cylindrical concrete monument. 15
by 60 cms., point 2 by an X on Bureau of Lands cylindrical concrete monument,
points 3, 4 and 5 by Bureau of Lands cylindrical concrete monuments, 15 by 60
cms., and point 6 by and X on iron bar 2 cms. diam. Bearings true; declination
variable; date of survey—November 5 and 11, 1952.

PARCEL 2.—Lot 2, BSD-10873

A parcel of land (lot No. 2) of the subdivision
plan, being a portion of block 351, Manila cadastre, BSD10873, situated in the
District of Ermita, City of Manila, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the north and
east, by lot No. 1, block 351, BSD-10873, and on the south and west, by lot No.
3 of block 351, BSD-10873. Beginning at a point marked 1 on the plan and on the
ground from B.L.L.M. No. 47, Manila cadastre 13, being S. 38° 43′ W., 45.59
meters to point of beginning, thence S. 28° 43′ E., 188.05 meters to point 2;
thence S. 60° 01′ W., 231.84 meters to point 3; thence N. 29° 25′ W., 81.00
meters to point 4; thence N. 60° 35 E., 82.00 meters to point 5; thence N. 30°
35′ W., 111.58 meters to point 6; thence N. 61° 25′ E., 153.42 meters to point
1; containing an area of 35,401 square meters, more or less. All points
referred to are indicated on the plan and on the ground by Bureau of Lands
cylindrical concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cms. Bearings true; declination
variable; date of survey—November 5 and 11, 1952.
