PROCLAMATION NO. 310, April 03, 1952

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, APRIL NINTH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-TWO, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATAAN.

Presidential Proclamations April 3, 1952



WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 307, dated March
24, 1952, the ninth day of April, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, has been
declared “Bataan Day” in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the Fall of
Bataan;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to give the people of
Bataan full opportunity to observe the day with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of
the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the
Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Wednesday, April ninth,
nineteen hundred and fifty-two, as a special public holiday in the Province of
Bataan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of
April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the sixth.
