RESERVING FOR THE USE OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAUG, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83
of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, and pending the final grant of the
land to the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in accordance with the provisions of
section 2 of Republic Act No. 397, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement
and reserve for the use of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, subject to
private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of the public domain situated
in the municipality of Saug, Province of Davao, Island of Mindanao, and more
particularly described in Bureau of Forestry Map Sp-141, to wit:

“Beginning at a point “1”, marked on Bureau of
Forestry Map Sp-141, at the junction of the Matgao River and Papasan Creek,
which is about N. 66° W. 2,460 meters from the new site of barrio Napungas,
Saug, Davao; thence due east about 500 meters to point “2”; thence due north
about 3,300 meters to point “3”; thence due west about 580 meters to point “4”;
thence N. 38° W. about 1600 meters to point “5”; a point on the southeastern bank
of the Matgao River; thence following Matgao River upstream in a general
northwesterly direction about 3,560 meters to point “6”, a point at the
junction of the Matgao River and a creek; thence following a creek upstream in
a general northeasterly direction about 940 meters to point “7”; thence N. 44°
E. about 4,950 meters to point “8”; thence due east about 2,720 meters to point
“9”; thence due south about 4 360 meters to point “10”; thence due east about
560 meters to point “11”; thence following a trail in a general southerly
direction about 4,000 meters to point “12”; thence due west about! 720 meters
to point “18”; thence S. 7° E. about 4,190 meters to point “14”, which is
identical to forest zone corner 3 of the proposed alienable and disposable area
of Kamansa Land Classification, Davao Project No. 16, as shown on Map Davao PMD
No. 2584; thence following the forest zone line in a general southwesterly and
northeasterly directions about 7,820 meters to point “1”, the point of
beginning, containing an area of 5,752 hectares, more or less, as initial grant
to the Boy Scoats of the Philippines.

Bounded on the north, by public forest; on the
cast, by public forest and trail; on the south, by the alienable and,
disposable block I, Saug Land Classification, Davao Project No. 20 and Sagoyon
Creek; and on the west by the alienable and disposable block I of Saug Land
Classification, Davao Project No. 20, Public Forest and Matgao River.”

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
