PROCLAMATION NO. 274, September 14, 1951

EXTENDING UP TO OCTOBER 15, 1951, THE PERIOD FIXED IN PROCLAMATION NO. 262, DATED JUNE 27, 1951, FOR THE NATIONAL FUND AND EDUCATIONAL DRIVE OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY.

WHEREAS, the period from August 19 to September
19, 1951, was designated under Proclamation No. 262, dated June 27, 1951, for
the national fund and educational drive of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society;
and

WHEREAS, it appears that the Philippine
Tuberculosis Society needs additional time to carry on its campaign
successfully;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of
the Philippines, do hereby extend up to October 15, 1951, the period designated
under Proclamation No. 262, dated June 27, 1951, for the national fund and
educational drive of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Baltimore, Maryland, U.
S. A. (for the City of Manila), this 14th day of September, in the year of Our
Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the Independence of the
Philippines, the sixth.
