PROCLAMATION NO. 226, December 05, 1950

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANILAO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, ISLAND OF PANAY.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83,
Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement
and reserve for school site purposes, under the administration of the Director
of Public Schools, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel
of the public domain situated in the municipality of Anilao, Province of
Iloilo, island of Panay, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands
Plan Mr-1020, to wit:

A parcel of land (as shown on plan Mr-1020),
situated in the barrio of Manganese, municipality of Anilao, Province of
Iloilo, Island of Panay. Bounded on the NE., by Arbongogan Creek; on the
E. by lot No. 26 of Pls-264; on the SE., by lets Nos. 26 and 24 of Pls-264; on
the SW., by lot No. 21 of Pls-264; and on the W. and NW., by Arbongogan Creek.
Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being S. 48° 33′ E., 16.10 meters from
B.L.L.M. No. 1, boundary of Manganese, map of Anilao, Province of Iloilo, thence
S. 77° 27′ W., 44.02 meters to point 2; thence S. 34° 32′ W., 48.32 meters to
point 3; thence S. 47° 50′ W., 131.94 meters to point 4; thence N. 49° 24′ W.,
57.53 meters to point 5 ; thence N. 11° 52′ W., 63.73 meters to point 6; thence
N. 21° 14′ E., 50.49 meters to point 7; thence N. 54° 40′ W., 60.93 meters to
point 8; thence N. 64° 59′ W., 83.83 meters to point 9; thence S. 60° 27′ W.
55.51 meters to point 10; thence N. 72° 46′ W., 49.85 meters to point 11;
thence S. 39° 18′ W., 14.90 meters to point 12; thence S. 5° 40′ W., 55.73
meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 27,330 square meters,
more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked
on the ground as follows; points 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, by stakes; and the
rest, by B.L. concrete monument; bearings true; declination 1° 12′ E.; date of
survey, September 7, 1948, and that of the approval, July 24, 1950.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 5th day of
December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the fifth.
