PROCLAMATION NO. 142, September 08, 1949

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN TAMBONGAN, LASANG, CITY OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83
of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or
settlement and reserve for school site purposes, under the administration of
the Director of Public Schools, subject to private rights, if any there be, a .parcel
of the public domain situated at Tamboagan, Lasang, City of Davao, Island of
Mindanao, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands plan
Bsd-10163, to wit:

“A parcel of land (lot 636-A of the subdivision
plan Bsd-10163, being’ a portion of lot 636 of the cadastral survey of Davao,
G.L.R.O. cadastral record No………….), situated in the City of Davao, Island of
Mindanao. Bounded on the N., E., S. and W., by lot 636-B of the subdivision
plan. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being N. 32° 39′ W., 1,538.36
meters from M.B.M. 27, Davao cadastre 102, thence N. 87° 58′ E., 125.70 m. to
point “2”; thence S. 2° 02’E., 174.92 m. to point “3”; thence S. 87° 58’W.,
125.66 m. to point “4”; thence N. 2° 03’W., 174.92 m. to the point of
beginning; containing an area of 21,984 square meters, more or less. All points
referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by
B.P.W./D.C. concrete monuments; bearings true; declination 2° 11′ E., date of
the original survey February, 1916—May, 1920 and that of the subdivision
survey, January 20 and February 12, 1948.”

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of
September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-nine, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the third.
