PROCLAMATION NO. 141, September 08, 1949
RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN CALINAN, CITY OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83
of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or
settlement and reserve for school site purposes, under the administration of
the Director of public Schools, subject to private rights, if any there be, a
certain parcel of the public domain, situated in Caiman, City of Davao, Island
of Mindanao, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands Plan
Psd-18212, to wit:
“‘A parcel; of land (lot 521-A of the subdivision
plan Psd-18212, being- a portion of lot 521 of the cadastral survey of Guianga,
G.L.R.O. cadastral record No. 540), situated in the City of Davao, Island of
Mindanao. Bounded on the NW, and N. by lot 521-B of plan Psd-18212; on the E.
by lot 526, Guianga cadastre; and on the SW. by Minta Malagos road and lot 521-B
of plan Psd-18212. Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being S. 23° 55’E.,
946.30 m. from B.L.L.M. 17, Guianga cadastre 174, thence N. 51° 44′ W., 19.61
m. to point “2”; thence N. 35° 26’W., 241.09 m;. to point “3”; thence N. 35°
26’W., 280.00 m. to point “4”; thence N. 54° 34’E., 11.20 m. to point “5”;
thence S. 80° 16’W., 155.00 m. to point “6”; thence S. 80° 16’E., 170.00 m. to
point “7”; thence S. 6° 43’W., 343.94 m. to the point of beginning; containing
an area of 60,382 square meters, more or less. All points referred to are
indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows; point 1, by old
spike in tree; and the rest, by E.P.W./D.C. concrete monuments; bearings true;
declination 2° 13’ E.; date of the original survey, July, 1920—June, 1922 and
that of the subdivision survey.. September 18-20, 1940.”
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of
September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-nine, and of the
