AN ACT CREATING BARANGAY IBUNG SOUTH IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VILLAVERDE, PROVINCE OF NUEVA VIZCAYA, INTO A NEW BARANGAY TO BE KNOWN AS BARANGAY IBUNG SOUTH

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. Sitio Ibung South in the Municipality of Villaverde,
Province of Nueva Vizcaya, is constituted into a new and distinct
barangay to be known as Barangay Ibung South.

SEC. 2. The boundaries of the new barangay shall be: From point 1, at
the boundary of the Municipality of Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya and the
Municipality of Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya, a straight line following the
EEA provincial road going northwest, traversing Barangay Ibung to
Pimentel Street up to point 2, at the boundary of Barangay Nagbitin and
Ibung, thence, westward traversing the property of Maria Logan and Rufo
Paras, following the boundary of Nagbitin and Ibung, at point 3,
upstream to point 4, thence, southwest to point 5, thence, to west at
point 6, at the Balacquit Creek, thence, following downstream to point
7, at the bridge, thence, south to point 8, the Green Lady Monument, the
boundary of Barangay Poblacion, thence, east, a straight line up to
point 9, the boundary of the Municipality of Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya and
the Municipality of Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya, thence, northeast, to
point 1.

SEC. 3. After the approval of the creation of Barangay Ibung South by
the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite to be conducted in the
area affected within one hundred twenty days from the approval of this
Act, the President of the Philippines shall appoint the first officials
of barangay Ibung South who shall hold office until their successors
shall have been duly elected and shall have qualified.

SEC. 4. The Commission on Elections shall conduct and supervise the
holding of the plebiscite and the expenses for such plebiscite shall be
charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections for the
said purpose.

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
