ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER No. 143 -99

Pursuant to Sec. 5(3), Article VIII of the Constitution, the Hon. JESUS DELA PEÑA,
Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 62, Oslob, Cebu,
and Assisting Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 56, Mandaue
City, is hereby directed to try and decide newly filed cases in the
latter court, in addition to his regular duties in his own court,
effective immediately and to continue until further orders from this
Court. He shall be entitled to additional expense and hardship allowance
as provided for in Resolution No. 99-1-04-SC of the Court En Banc dated 2 February 1999.

Further, the Hon. Judge AUGUSTINE A. VESTIL, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 56, Mandaue City, is hereby DIRECTED to
proceed with the trial of the cases pending in his court, as well as
decide cases already submitted for decision, before he started to serve
his suspension from office.

For a more systematic arrangement, Hon. Judge Jesus
dela Peña shall hear the cases of Branch 56 from Monday to Wednesday of
every week, while Hon. Judge Augustine Vestil shall hear the
aforementioned cases of said court on Thursday and Friday of every week.

This Order, which shall take effect immediately, amends Administrative Order No. 130-99 dated 24 November 1999.
