GRANTING PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP TO RONALD FREDRICK WILLIAM NATHANIELSZ

Presidential Decrees May 14, 1973



WHEREAS, Ronald Fredrick William Nathanielsz, a citizen of
Ceylon, has, by his long and continuous service to the Filipino people,
in the field of journalism proven himself worthy of all the rights,
privileges and prerogatives of a citizen of this country; and

WHEREAS, since his arrival in 1962 he and his family has
decided to make this country their permanent home to which they shall
forever owe and pledge their allegiance and loyalty;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the
Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as
Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines and
pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General
Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, do hereby grant Philippine
citizenship to Ronald Fredrick William Nathanielsz with all the rights,
privileges and prerogatives appurtenant thereto.

This Decree is made part of the law of the land and shall take
effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of May, in the year of
Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
