PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 108, January 25, 1973
TRANSFERRING BARRIO PATIN-AY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN FRANCISCO, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL SUR, TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF PROSPERIDAD, SAME PROVINCE
2460 seeking to transfer the barrio of Patin-ay in the Municipality of
San Francisco, Province of Agusan del Sur, to the Municipality of
Prosperidad preparatory to its conversion as the capital site of the
province of Agusan del Sur; and
WHEREAS, public interest requires the early enactment of
the bill into law to effect much-needed expansion of the capitol site;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the
Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution
as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and
pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General
Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, do hereby adopt and make as part
of the law of the land H. B. No. 2460 transferring to, and making a
part of the Municipality of Prosperidad, the Barrio of Patin-ay in the
Municipality of San Francisco, Province of Agusan del Sur.
Done in the City of Manila, this 25th day of January, in the
year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
